A couple of weeks ago, Myla kept pointing to the window seat in our house and making the sign for "cheese" (hands flat and rubbed together). I couldn't figure out why she was talking about cheese--had she hidden some under the cushion? This seemed all too likely. But nope, no stinky cheese.
It turns out she was pointing to some lotion in the window, and wanting some on her hands to rub together. Now, she is constantly asking us to put a little drop on her hand. At first she just giggles, and then eventually rubs it in like she knows exactly what she's doing. This fascination has carried over to soap and hand sanitizer--she loves to put soap on her hands and wash them in the sink.
She has the softest, cleanest hands I've ever seen, which is a good thing this flu season!

It's a good thing it was not cheese. A little OCD with handwashing during flu season is not a bad thing, and it sounds like she also wants to keep them soft with the lotion, too cute!
