We had a pretty big snowfall here right after new year's, and at that time a few Notre Dame students built a snowman near my office building. I have walked past this snowman every day for the last four weeks, and he has hardly shrunk in size at all. He still has his stick arms. Any damage that has been done appears to have been caused by wind, not melting.
How did I manage to end up living somewhere where a snowman can survive for four weeks?!?
